Hiking with Poles


Workshop Information

  • a 6 week series

  • a set schedule 2 times per week

  • each session is 1.5 hours

  • use your computer or device to attend

  • attend on-line over Zoom in your home


You will need:

  • Computer, laptop or tablet
    (A phone is not ideal for this program, but can work if needed)

  • Steady internet connection

  • to be able to commit to a set schedule of 2x/week for 6 weeks


Who it’s for:

  • Individuals with one or more chronic conditions

  • People who are interested in learning how to exercise safely

  • Those who want to experience the health benefits of physical activity


Learning to exercise safely will help prevent injury and stay on track for living healthy.

It begins with:

One-on-one assessment
scheduled 1-4 weeks prior to the start of the program


The assessment with the exercise specialist ensures that you know how to monitor your conditions for safety.  Your exercises may be modified to prevent pain or further injury

You will:

  • Exercise in a small virtual group under the guidance of an exercise specialist

  • Learn how to self-monitor and stay safe while exercising

  • Improve your strength, flexibility and endurance


Concludes with:

Final coaching opportunity with the exercise therapist to discuss exercise experience and personal goals.
